Welcome to the Workers’ Compensation
Division’s Legislative website. Our goal is to provide information about the workers’
compensation process, legislation, programs, and policy issues to interested parties in the
workers’ compensation system. Since 1913, when the Oregon Legislative Assembly gave Oregon
its first workers’ compensation law, legislative sessions have continued to bring about
changes that affect the workers’ compensation system. Below you will find information
about legislative changes influencing the workers’ compensation system.
