Administration
provides policy direction and leadership for the Workers'
Compensation Division rulemaking, policy analysis, budget
development and execution, strategic planning, legislative
concept development, bill tracking, and quality assurance
and performance management. Administration is also responsible
for developing and maintaining the division's performance
management system and developing detailed plans, goals,
and objectives for the long-range implementation and administration
of programs.
The
Workers' Compensation Division's administrator
and deputy administrator
oversee all of the division's programs and services to
ensure that WCD's mission, vision, and goals are being
carried forward. They ensure that the sections have the
necessary resources to carry out statutory responsibilities.
Administration is responsible for working with the Workers'
Compensation Management-Labor
Advisory Committee (MLAC) and coordinating legislative
session work relating to workers' compensation issues.
