Administration

Overview

The Administrator's Office provides policy direction, leadership, and strategic planning for the division. The Workers' Compensation Division has a total of six sections: Benefit Services, Compliance, Operations, Policy & Communications, Medical, and the Administrator's Office.

The Administrator and Deputy Administrator oversee all division programs, assuring that the agency's mission and goals are being carried forward. They ensure that the sections have the necessary resources to carry out statutory responsibilities.

In addition, included in the Administrator's Office budget are the Ombudsman for Injured Workers, the Small Business Ombudsman, and expenses of the Workers' Compensation Management-Labor Advisory Committee. However, these entities function independently and report to the Director of the Department of Consumer and Business Services.
